It's rare to find a website with a strong message and strong design. Well, look no further because I have found it.... Design Can Change

The sites design is incredibly effective with the use of powerful imagery, efficient navigation, cool info-graphics and sweet little animations that clearly communicate the message. On top of all those awesome things, the purpose of the site is to promote the idea that as designers, our industry can have a huge impact on environmental issues if we band together and increase awareness for sustainable practices.

Please check out the site, it's in a cool little sideshow format that auto-navigates through the different sections. It ends in the resources section where you can get lots of helpful information for making your design practices more sustainable.

Sustainable design is a must !

You're absolutely right, the designers that do care are in the minority... but I think in the recent future, sustainability and good design will become synonymous.
